ASIASIM is the abbreviation for Asia Simulation Federation, which is initiated by the five simulation societies of China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. ASIASIM focuses on modeling and simulation technologies that have been widely used in almost all fields including engineering, nature, society, life, education, entertainment and military.
Asia Simulation Conference is an annual simulation conference organized by ASIASIM societies – CSF (China Simulation Federation), JSST (Japan Society for Simulation Technology), KSS (Korea Society for Simulation), SSAGsg (Society for Simulation and Gaming of Singapore) and MSS (Malaysian Simulation Society). The conference started in 1980s and was held alternatively in Asian countries. This conference provides a forum for scientists, academicians, and professionals from around the world. The purpose of ASIASIM is to provide Asia forum for regional and national simulation societies to promote the advancement of modelling and simulation in industry, research and development.
In order to better promote the research and application of modeling and simulation technology, these societies decide to set up a formal organization, i.e. ASIASIM. Now, we are working on the registration of an official academic organization in China. We need to provide a list of potential international organization members from both academy and industry to support the registration application. Promisingly, the involvement in the ASIASIM will facilitate close collaboration among federation members on research, development and applications of M&S, promotion of M&S products in the Asian market, and visibility of your institution’s in Asia.
